There are many reasons a person may decide to become a teacher. (High salary is not one.) Whatever the reason, a love of children must be a part of it. If not, you are in the wrong profession. Teaching is stressful, there is no doubt about that. But what many people don’t realize is that teaching is an emotional and spiritual journey. Children find emotional buttons to push that you don’t even know exist. When you learn to heal these emotional triggers, you not only become a better teacher, you become a better person. (By better person, I mean healed emotionally.)
